The First Street Story

We are a small business Located in Perth Australia founded in 2023.

At First Street, we’re passionate about celebrating the iconic world of football through vintage and new jerseys. Founded in Perth, Australia, our brand was born from a lifelong love of football culture. From a young age, I began collecting jerseys and wore them proudly at every opportunity, which sparked my dream of sharing this passion with others. Our mission is to offer both rare vintage finds and the latest designs, making First Street a go-to destination for football enthusiasts. Whether you’re a collector or a casual fan, our curated selection brings together history, style, and passion for the beautiful game.

However the journey to get here started in 2021. Our founder Sam Holroyd at the age of 17 got into the reselling scene and was selling during year 11 and 12 in high school on marketplaces such as Facebook. As soon as he turned 18 he started using Ebay as a selling platform. Then PerthVintageCollection (PVC) was born and he began growing on social media, as well as selling at local markets whilst working full time and gaining a Cert 4 in Marketing, which led to him quitting his job and reselling fulltime.

On the 21st of June 2023, First Street was born when the original PVC Instagram was removed and he had to start over, which was probably the best thing to happen for the brand. After Slowly building his brand up from the start again he knew he wanted to open a pop up store for his brand and began the hunt for the perfect location.

He eventually found the perfect store in between 2 of Perth's biggest streetwear brands Oli and StreetX. He signed a 3 month contract and hoped for the best with the store officially opening 18/11/2023. It went well over the 3 months so he signed for another 3. Eventually he has now just signed a full time contract. In this short time he has grown his Instagram from 0 to 50k followers and growing as we speak.
